દોડશે જ્યાં તું માયા તરફ, પ્રભુ જાશે તો તુજથી ભાગી
કરી લેજે નિર્ણય સાચો, લઈ જવી છે ક્યાં ગતિ તારી
મક્કમતાથી કરજે ગતિ, માયાને તો દેજે તું તો દાબી
ચડશે મદદે માયાની, વંટોળ વિચારોના દેજે એને તો હટાવી
વિચારોને તો નાથી નાથી, દેજે પ્રભુમાં તો એને સ્થાપી
વિકારો જો ઊઠશે ઊંચા, દેશે પગ એ તો તારા દબાવી
શ્રદ્ધાના બળે પગ સ્થિર કરી, કરજે મુકાબલો તેનો ભારી
મૂડી બીજી કોઈ નહિ આવે, સદ્દગુણોની સાથે લેજે મૂડી
ખોટા સિક્કા કામ નહિ લાગે, લાગશે કામ સદ્દગુણોની મૂડી

makkamatāthī karajē gati, māyānē tō dējē tuṁ tō dābī
caḍaśē madadē māyānī, vaṁṭōla vicārōnā dējē ēnē tō haṭāvī

He is saying...
If you move towards Divine, then illusion will automatically remain behind,
If you run towards illusion, then Divine will automatically run away from you,
You have to decide which direction you want to take.
Move with complete conviction, and crush the attraction of this illusion.
Don’t indulge in illusion, and remove the whirlwind of thoughts from your mind. Control your other thoughts, and establish your thoughts in Divine.
If you give rise to your vices, then they will control your steps towards Divine,
With the strength of faith, stand tall on your feet and fight your vices.
No other wealth will come with you, only the wealth of your virtues will come,
Worthless treasure is of no use to you, only worthy treasure is a treasure of your virtues.
Kaka is explaining that there are two parallel paths in front of us, either the path of spirituality or a path of illusion. We are the one to make a choice. We cannot move forward if we keep our feet in both the paths, which are not merging at any point. One cannot embrace love, if there is hatred in the heart, one cannot embrace purity if there is jealousy, revenge, anger in the heart. With leap of faith and with courage to fight our disorders, and stillness in our thoughts, we can elevate ourselves to the higher consciousness.
