In this knowledgeable Gujarati Bhajan Kakaji is trying to make us understand the most complicated fact of God & the ghost. It can be understood as the difference between positive energy and negative energy. As it's very difficult to understand the difference between the two factors.
Kakaji says
Whether the ghost is good or God is good, it is never to be understood.
With the fault mind you invite a ghost it shall come running.
But you get tired trying to attract the Lord. So that the Lord's foot can be welcomed.
After completing of the assigned work the ghost shall come back.
O'Lord ,so I pray every moment help me to cross it
The negative energy does not see whether good character or bad character, but the tuft comes in hand.
But the Lord's tuft does not come in hand whether wicked or nice.
Visible or invisible both are similar in it.
The work assigned is provided to both, but the difference is not realised soon.
Though the ghost is under our control they shall continue to do the assigned work.
Kakaji concludes in the end, So it's better to be in the control of the Lord, and the work shall be done by itself.
Here Kakaji is explaining that we easily succumb to the negative forces as they keep us in illusion. & we are away from reality. So Kakaji says to be in the impact of the Divine.
