નાનો અમથો જીવડો, પરમાત્માની બરોબરી કરવા નીકળ્યું
હેસિયત ભૂલી ગયો ખૂદની, જીવનમાં દોડી દોડી એ થાક્યું
સહાય કરવા ટપૂસિયાંએ ટહેલ નાંખી, ગામે ગામથી ટોળું દોડી આવ્યું
સરોવરે વાદળ જોયું ટપૂસિયાંનું, અંતર એનું ત્યાં ધ્રુજી ગયું
લઈને પાંદડું, પાંદડા પર એનું ઈંડું, ઉપર એ તો એને લઈ આવ્યું
જ્યાં બધા એકમતે ભેગા થયા, અશક્યને શક્ય એણે બનાવ્યું
નાના બધા ભેગા ગયા મળી, સરોવરને પણ દીન બનાવ્યું
સરોવરે ભાઈબંધીની કરી યાચના, ફરી પછી આવું નહીં કરું
વરસોથી પાતો રહ્યો છું પાણી, શાને વેર વાળવાનું સૂઝ્યું
ના દોષ દીધો તમે પવનને, ના દોષ દીધો તમે અન્યને
શાને વિચાર્યા વિના, આરોપણ દોષનું મારા ઉપર કર્યું
સંબંધ જોઈ જાળવી રાખ્યું ઈંડું, કીધું હોત તો લાવી દેત તારું ઈંડું

pī nā śakē ēka būṁda pāṇī, sarōvaranē cūsavā ē tō nīkalyuṁ
nānō amathō jīvaḍō, paramātmānī barōbarī karavā nīkalyuṁ
hēsiyata bhūlī gayō khūdanī, jīvanamāṁ dōḍī dōḍī ē thākyuṁ
sahāya karavā ṭapūsiyāṁē ṭahēla nāṁkhī, gāmē gāmathī ṭōluṁ dōḍī āvyuṁ
sarōvarē vādala jōyuṁ ṭapūsiyāṁnuṁ, aṁtara ēnuṁ tyāṁ dhrujī gayuṁ
laīnē pāṁdaḍuṁ, pāṁdaḍā para ēnuṁ īṁḍuṁ, upara ē tō ēnē laī āvyuṁ
jyāṁ badhā ēkamatē bhēgā thayā, aśakyanē śakya ēṇē banāvyuṁ
nānā badhā bhēgā gayā malī, sarōvaranē paṇa dīna banāvyuṁ
sarōvarē bhāībaṁdhīnī karī yācanā, pharī pachī āvuṁ nahīṁ karuṁ
varasōthī pātō rahyō chuṁ pāṇī, śānē vēra vālavānuṁ sūjhyuṁ
nā dōṣa dīdhō tamē pavananē, nā dōṣa dīdhō tamē anyanē
śānē vicāryā vinā, ārōpaṇa dōṣanuṁ mārā upara karyuṁ
saṁbaṁdha jōī jālavī rākhyuṁ īṁḍuṁ, kīdhuṁ hōta tō lāvī dēta tāruṁ īṁḍuṁ

A small insignificant insect went to take vengeance with the ocean.
It could not drink a drop of water yet it went to suck the entire ocean.
A small insignificant insect went to become equal with God,
It forgot its own status; running in the race of life it got tired.
The insect called out for help; a herd of insects came running from various villages.
The ocean saw the cloud of insects and its heart started trembling.
It took a leaf and put the egg on the leaf and lifted the leaf up.
When everyone united together, it also made the ocean needy.
The ocean prayed to the entire group that, “I would not do this again.
Since years I have been providing water, why did you think of taking vengeance?
You did not blame the wind, you did not blame others.
Without thinking why did you put the blame on me?
I have considered our relationship and have maintained the egg. If you had only told me I would have given you the egg.”
