જળ રહે ભૂમિમાં, વર્ષા દ્વારા ફરી એ ફેલાય
આનંદ રહે છે મનમાં, જો એ પ્રભુમાં સમાય
મૃગજળ પાછળ દોડીને, તરસ્યો જીવ તરસ્યો રહી જાય
માયા પાછળ દોડીને, માનવી દુઃખી-દુઃખી થાય
સુખ પચાવવું સહેલું નથી, દુઃખ પણ અઘરું વરતાય
સર્વ પરિસ્થિતિમાં સ્થિર રહેતાં, કસોટી ત્યાં થાય
મનને માયામાં ભમાવીને, અસંતોષ ઊભો થાય
મન જ્યારે સંતોષી બને, ત્યારે સાચું સુખ રેલાય
સૂરજ ઊગે અને આથમે, એમ સઘળું બદલાય
ફિકર તું શાને કરે, સુખદુઃખના પણ દિન જાય
કોઈના મનોરથ પૂર્ણ થતા નથી, અધૂરા એ રહી જાય
સોનાની લંકા અધૂરી રહી, ધાર્યું ધણીનું જ થાય

sūraja ūgē anē āthamē, ēma saghaluṁ badalāya
phikara tuṁ śānē karē, sukhaduḥkhanā paṇa dina jāya
kōīnā manōratha pūrṇa thatā nathī, adhūrā ē rahī jāya

Here Kaka tells us.... Recite the name of the Divine O mind of mine sing the praise of Divine. Forget about all your worries and attachments and recite the name of the Divine. You came into this world alone and will be alone when you leave this world. During this journey you form many relationships. Almost all relationships are based on some transaction of give and take. When it's time to leave this earth nobody will accompany you including your own body. You will have to walk that path alone. The only one that can become your guiding force on that path is the Divine. So sing the praise of the Divine, immerse yourself in his devotion, which will help you to stay connected with the Divine. So, recite the name of the Divine O mind of mine sing the praise of Divine. For many of us, a question arises that why do we have to sing praise or recite the Divine’s name. He is the Divine, so why can't he help us anyways. Even the Divine follows the law of this universe. It's a law that what you sow is what you reap—nothing more, nothing less. If you make an effort to connect with the Divine and permit him only then, he can come to your aid. Hence the reason why things happen the Divine’s way.
