નીકળ્યું એ તારામાંથી `મા', તોય તુજથી દૂરનું દૂર રહ્યું
હવે જ્યારે આવ્યું છે તારી પાસ, તારે એને સાચવવું રહ્યું
સાચા-ખોટા અનુભવો મળ્યા જગમાં, સાચો અનુભવ આપજે તું
તારી કૃપા કરીને આજ, તારી કૃપાથી નવરાવજે એને તું

haiyuṁ māruṁ sōṁpyuṁ chē tārē hātha, havē tuṁ karāvē tē kharuṁ
manaḍuṁ rahyuṁ nathī havē mārē hātha, tārē ē sācavavuṁ rahyuṁ
haiyē caḍyāṁ hatā pāpanā bhāra, tārē sāpha ēnē karavuṁ rahyuṁ
prēmē pājē tārā prēmanuṁ pāna, `mā' tārē havē pāvuṁ rahyuṁ
nīkalyuṁ ē tārāmāṁthī `mā', tōya tujathī dūranuṁ dūra rahyuṁ
havē jyārē āvyuṁ chē tārī pāsa, tārē ēnē sācavavuṁ rahyuṁ
sācā-khōṭā anubhavō malyā jagamāṁ, sācō anubhava āpajē tuṁ
tārī kr̥pā karīnē āja, tārī kr̥pāthī navarāvajē ēnē tuṁ
daīnē tārī dayānā dāna, tārā haiyāmāṁ vasāvī dējē tuṁ
havē āvyuṁ chē tārī pāsa, bījē javā na dētī ēnē tuṁ

I have given my heart to you, now whatever you make it do is fine.
Now my heart is not in my control, You will have to take care of it.
My heart was filled with the load of innumerable sins, You will have to clean it.
With love, fill my heart with your love, Oh Divine Mother, now You will have to feed it.
It has originated from You Oh Divine Mother, yet my heart has remained away from You.
Now when it has come to You, You will have to take care of it.
Got good and bad experiences in this world, now You give the right experience.
Shower your grace today, bless my heart with your grace.
Give it the mercy of your kindness, let me heart reside in your heart.
Now my heart has come to You, let it not go anywhere else.

I have surrendered my heart in Your hand, now whatever You do is the best
My heart is not in my hands, You have to take care of it now,
My heart was filled with innumerable sins, You have to clean it,
Give me to drink Your love with love, Mother now You have to give it to me to drink,
It has generated from You O Divine Mother, yet it has lived far far away from You,
Now when it has come towards You, You have to take care of it,
I have experienced good and bad experiences in this world, You give the right experience
Grace me with Your pity , You keep me in Your heart
Now my heart has come towards You, let it not go anywhere else.
Here, Kakaji in this beautiful bhajan tells The Divine Mother to rest our heart in Her devotion and not to flutter everywhere.
