ગાયો દીપક રાગ સૂરજે કેવો,
યુગોથી એ જલતો રહ્યો;
મળ્યો નથી મેઘમલ્હાર ગાવા વાળો,
ઠંડો એને કરી શક્યો.
The sun has sung such a melody of light,
That it is shining since ages.
Have not found anyone singing melody of rains,
Which would cool it down.
