તું તો જડમાં ભી ને ચેતનમાં ભી, તું ક્યાં નથી `મા’ એ તો સમજાતું નથી
તું નર ભી છે ને નારી ભી છે, તું શું નથી `મા’ એ સમજાતું નથી
તું પાલનકર્તા ને મારણકર્તા ભી, તું શું ના કરે `મા’ એ સમજાતું નથી
તું સૃષ્ટિ સર્જનકારી ભી, તું પ્રલયકારી ભી, તું શું નથી એ તો સમજાતું નથી
તું દાનવમાં ભી, તું દેવમાં ભી, તું સંતમાં ભી, તું ક્યાં નથી એ તો સમજાતું નથી
તું ક્રોધમાં ભી, તું પ્રેમમાં ભી, તું ક્યાં નથી એ તો સમજાતું નથી
તું ધરતીમાં, તું આકાશમાં, તું ક્યાં નથી એ તો સમજાતું નથી
તું પાપમાં ભી, તું પુણ્યમાં ભી, તું શું નથી એ તો સમજાતું નથી
તું કૃપાએ તારે, અહંને ડુબાડે, તું શું કરે ના કરે એ તો સમજાતું નથી

tuṁ pālanakartā nē māraṇakartā bhī, tuṁ śuṁ nā karē `mā' ē samajātuṁ nathī

You are near and also far. Where you are not present, O Mother, that cannot be understood.
You are in lifeless and also in life. Where you are not present, O Mother, that cannot be understood.
You are a man and also a woman. What you are not, O Mother, that cannot be understood.
You are a nurturer of life and also partner in death. What all you do not do, O Mother, that cannot be understood.
You are a creator of the universe and also a destroyer. What you are not, O Mother, that cannot be understood.
You are present in a devil and also in a God. You are present in saints too. Where you are not, O Mother, that cannot be understood.
You are present in anger and also in love. Where you are not, O Mother, that cannot be understood.
You are present in the earth and also in the sky. Where you are not, O Mother, that cannot be understood.
You are present in sin and also in virtue. What you are not, O Mother, that cannot be understood.
You kill the egos with your grace. What all you do and not do, O Mother, that cannot be understood.
Kaka is explaining that we should live our lives with the knowledge that Divine Mother is present in everyone and everything. Therefore, we should always have humble approach towards everyone and in all situations.
Let ourselves be free of ego and egoistic behaviour.
