માયાનું વર્ચસ્વ છે એવું, ના કોઈ બચ્યું, ના કોઈ બચ્યું
ગરીબ, તવંગર, નાનું-મોટું, સહુ એમાં ડૂબ્યું, સહુ એમાં ડૂબ્યું
દોડાવ્યું જગ સારાને એવું, રહ્યું એ તો દોડતું, રહ્યું દોડતું
ફળ ધરતું ગયું તો એવું, સહુ એમાં મોહાયું, સહુ મોહાયું
નારદ જેવાને પણ ઘસડી ગયું રે, ઘસડી ગયું
કરી કૃપા પ્રભુએ જેના પર, એમાંથી એ બચ્યું, એ તો બચ્યું

In this Gujarati bhajan, Pujya Kakaji is saying…
No one is saved from this illusion, not saved from this illusion.
One who wants to hold illusion dear to his heart is dragged by it, is dragged by it.
The blood that comes out of its wound is found to be sweet, found to be sweet.
Whether the focus is pointed toward God or not, one turns away from God, turns away from God.
The power of illusion is such that no one is saved, no one is saved.
The poor, the rich, the small, and the big, all get immersed in it, immersed in it.
It made the world run in such a way that it just keeps running, just keeps running.
It kept offering such fruits that everyone got attracted towards it, attracted towards it.
Even Lord Narad got swept by it, swept by it.
Those who have been blessed by God, have been saved from it, saved from it.
Kaka is explaining the powerful impact of illusion on humankind. He is explaining that illusion is so attractive, so indulging that no one is saved from it other than those who have been blessed by God. Even if someone’s focus is on God, the impact of illusion is so pounding that one will tend to turn away from God, despite the knowledge and understanding of transient illusion and eternal truth of the Supreme.
