Avoid everything in life and learn nothing;

That’s not the right way, that’s not the right way

No courage in heart, can't meet challenge in life;

that’s not the right way...

Not to meet without open heart, and have doubt in heart;

that’s not the right way...

Want to see everything and not to understand anything;

that’s not the right way...

Want to achieve everything, lose patience in between;

that’s not the right way...

Life is evergoing fight, lose courage every step;

that’s not the right way...

Make not everything light, make everything hard in life;

that’s not the right way...

English Explanation

In this English hymn, Kaka is guiding us to never hesitate in life, pray to God for help and guidance and then just do it -

Each one of us have all kinds of experiences everyday in our lives, including some days that we wish that we never got out of bed for ; but, we have to be mentally and physically prepared for everything that may come up, so when it does eventually come, we are prepared and ready for it

We will face many obstacles during our life, which may even be unsurmountable at times ; but, we must keep our nerve and poise and meet it headlong, even if we have thoughts of running away from it in some way or another

We have to be able to meet any challenge with confidence that God is there to take care of us no matter what ; while it is normal to have doubts, we should not turn our back and simply ignore it as it will not go away on it’s own ; but, if we earnestly seek God’s assistance, the challenge will become easier for us to overcome it somehow in some way

We want to know everything in life but if we don’t feel it in our heart by actually becoming concerned about it, we will not learn anything from it either

We all have our goals and achievements to be fulfilled in our life, but if we don’t have the patience and perseverance to put in whole-hearted efforts to achieve it, we will not reach our goals and it will just remain as distant dreams

Everyone needs to strive hard for something or the other in their lives, no matter at what level they may be at and it may even seem that they don’t need to strive for anything at all ; if we don’t have the conviction and the courage, we will never achieve any of our goals

As it is a given that each of one of will need to overcome our individual issues, it is upto us to make it such that we are able to handle it and ultimately overcome it ; but, if we choose to make it an unreachable mountain that we will not be able to climb, then we have already given up our drive, hope and our lackadaisical effort is bound to end in failure

Kaka is encouraging us to handle everything in our lives not only with due caution but with full enthusiasm, determination and perseverance. We have been born in this world with some specific purpose ; but, if we do not wish to even make any effort from our side, we will never find out our purpose in life ; and if we do not, then we will just keep going through the cycle of birth and death without any progress ; so, we must experience whatever comes our way by seeking God’s blessing to help us take the right action, then actually take the action and then move on with our progress. This process also needs to include the acknowledgement of God, how to get his Divine grace by surrendering ourself to Him completely and then staying out of His way enabling Him to do whatever He wishes for us.
