Oh Almighty! I am in search of thee and thee
Oh Almighty! I am in search of thee and thee,
I shall find you and you, wherever you will be
I shall find you, finding you no obstacle will stop me
More and more I think about you, I feel your presence in me
I am never without you; still I am in search of thee
I am ever searching you, not found you; how could that be?
I have not acted according to you, why should you act according to me.

SATGURU DEVENDRA GHIA (KAKA)
English Explanation |
|
In this English hymn, Kaka is expressing His determination, dedication and tenacity for searching God -
I am searching for you and you only
I will find you no matter wherever you may be
I will not let anything stop me in my search for you
The more and more I think about you, I can feel your presence in me
Even knowing that you are always with me, I am still looking for you
Despite my continuously searching for you, I still cannot find you
As I have not done what you wanted of me, why should you do what I want ?
Many of us occasionally think or discuss about God, sometimes in an abstract way while sometimes in a very clear form that we may attribute to God. This ambivalence turns into determination to seek out God when we need His help. In those times, we do not let any doubts or lack of faith come in our way. When God decides to grace us, we immediately acknowledge His existence. We don't realize that God is always with us and He knows everything and we should always be in continuous communion with Him. We have to surrender ourselves to Him so that He can do whatever He thinks best for us. If we do not want to follow God's expectations of us, we should not expect God to automatically meet our expectations either.
