In this English hymn, Kaka is instilling the need for our sincere and wholehearted efforts in everything that we do in our life -
We have to do what is required to be done no matter what the situation may be
We have to do what we need to do no matter even whether we may not like to do so
We should not make excuses for not completing something even if we find it unacceptable in any way whatsoever
Just talking about doing something and not following it up with prompt and proper action is not acceptable
We must ensure that we first understand and know what we need to do and why
If we do not do what is necessary to be done, then we cannot become what we are supposed to be
If we are unable to do what is necessary, we will not get what we are supposed to get
Whenever we do something, then we must always do so with the right attitude and positive frame of mind
We should not try to avoid things that must be done under any circumstances
As we will need to do many things in our life, we must do everything that is necessary and not hesitate in any way from doing so
As we are born into this world and are unable to live in a cocoon without any sort of responsibilities or duties whatsoever, we will need to do many things in life. These acts can be for our own self, for others around us and for even those who are not known to us. What is most important is that we must do it in a timely manner, do it willingly and do it with sincerity and dedication, while never doing any acts deliberately that will be detrimental to anyone in any way. We must then surrender the actions themselves and even the consequences of all our actions to the Almighty and seek his blessings that the actions taken work out all right.
